Anupamaa Actor Sudhanshu Pandey On Cold War With Rupali Ganguly: ‘Difference of Opinion is Normal’

Mumbai: Anupamaa actor Sudhanshu Pandey has finally reacted to the rumours of a rift between him and his co-star Rupali Ganguly. He dismissed the reports and said that there is ‘nothing wrong’ between them and a ‘difference of opinion’ isnt unusual but calling it a ‘rift’ is too dramatic. Speaking to an entertainment portal, he said, “Rupali and I are good co-actors and friends, too. There is nothing wrong between us. And a difference of opinion between two actors at times is very normal and can happen any day. There are so many times when you don’t agree on something and get a little upset but then it is over. And that happens not only with actors working on the sets, it also happens between two individuals at home. Rift or cold war are too strong words to use.”

Earlier this week, Madalsa Sharma Aka Kavya, too, reacted to the rumours and called it ‘rubbish’. “What rubbish. These are just rumours. Nothing of this sort is happening”, she said.

A source also said, “There is no truth to these rumours. We have never heard of it. The whole cast is too mature to indulge in cold war or groupism. No discord has come to the notice of the channel. Such stories are circulated by fans to create fan wars. Something similar happened with Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin as well.”

Earlier, reports emerged on the internet claiming that there is a cold war between Rupali and Sudhanshu. It is being said that the cast has been divided into two groups – Rupali formed it along with Alpana Buch, Aashish Mehrotra, and Muskan Bamne while Sudhanshu has formed a group with Anagha Bhonsale, Madalsa Sharma, and Paras Kalnawat.

Manish Malhotra, Sabyasachi, Ritu Kumar Summoned By ED In Money-Laundering Case, Details Inside

New Delhi: Ace fashion designers Manish Malhotra, Sabyasachi, and Ritu Kumar have been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with a money laundering case. The top fashion designers were summoned in connection with the probe against Punjab MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira. All three have been asked to report at ED headquarters in New Delhi on Thursday and Friday. The ED wants clarification from them regarding the few cash payments they received, as per the officials familiar with the development.

In March 2021, the ED had raided Khaira’s properties in connection with the Fazilka drug smuggling case 2015, against which the Punjab MLA moved Punjab and Haryana high court. After the raids, the ED officials claimed that Rs 4.85 crore was deposited in his bank in about 12 years but his account declared income of only Rs 99 lakh to the income tax department.

On April 4, MLA has filed a fresh plea in the court after ED moved before the agency’s adjudicating authority seeking permission to open Khaira’s electronic devices including his phones.

On April 12, the ED had then issued a show-cause notice to Khaira asking him why the agency should not be allowed to examine his electronic devices. Responding to the agency, Khaira said that the act would amount to a breach of privacy.

Mumbai Court Refrains KRK From Posting Defamatory Content Against Actor, Passes Interim Order

Mumbai: In the latest development in the defamation case filed by Salman Khan against Kamaal R Khan (KRK), a Mumbai civil court has restrained self-proclaimed critic from posting or publishing any defamatory content about the Radhe actor, his business ventures, and/or films. After hearing the civil suit filed by Salman, the court passed the interim order which will continue until the court passes judgment in the case.

On May 27, KRK tweeted about receiving the legal notice from Salman Khan’s team regarding the defamation case. He had shared the first page of the notice and claimed that it was because of his bad review to Salman Khan’s film Radhe. He wrote, “You all can see hundreds of bad reviews of #Radhe on YouTube but Salman doesn’t have any problem with anyone except #TheBrandKRK! Now it’s proof that #DRKRK is The No.1 Critic in the history of Bollywood. All others are just Chai Cum Paani. Stars don’t care about their reviews (sic).”

He further claimed that Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan had said that Radhe was a bad film and he assumed that Salim agrees with him. He wrote, “Salim Khan Sahab father of Salman has said in his interview that Radhe is a bad film. This means he is giving a signal to Salman that he should accept that his film is bad, instead of filing a defamation case against me. Thank you Salim Sahab for supporting truth (sic).”

He had also requested veteran screenwriter Salim Khan to make his son withdraw the case. He further said that he will not review Salman’s films in the future, claiming that the actor was ‘getting too much affected’ by his review. However, later he deleted the tweets and changed his stance. He wrote on Twitter, “Normally I don’t review the film if producer-director or actor of the film asks me to not review it. But Now if this man will request me, or even touch my feet also, still I will review his each film and each song. Satyamev Jayate! Jai Hind!”

Salman’s lawyers said that it is a response to KRK’s allegations of corruption and money laundering against the actor. However, KRK claimed that over 20 people from the film industry, who were ‘scared’ to rub the actor in the wrong way, have extended their support to him.
