The release date of “Mirza Juuliet” has been pre-poned by a week and it will now release on 7th April, 2017. The film is directed by Rajesh Ram Singh. The trailer of the film garnered lot of attention within a day of its release and the songs have been loved by all.
Mirza Juuliet – Emotion ka confusion, starring Darshan Kumaar and Pia Bajpai, Priyanshu Chatterjee, Swanand Kirkire, Chandan Roy Sanyal and is a story of strong emotions and above all a mixed confusion of all these emotions.

Sunil Doshi, is bringing to Indian cinema lovers a unique offering under his new initiative “Sunil Doshi Presents”. Every year Sunil will handpick and curate films that are eclectic, award winning and film festival favourites from all over the world and give them an India release. The first film from the “Sunil Doshi Presents” bouquet is the oscar winning Asghar Farhadi film, “The Salesman”, which will be distributed by PVR.
Describing his initiative, Sunil says that in the world of too many movies, attention span deficit and recommenFdation algorithms, there is a need for the cinema connoisseurs to be able to make an informed choice and this is where “Sunil Doshi Presents” comes in. With more than two decades of being an active part of innumerable film festivals and being at the forefront of the team that conceptalised the channel NDTV Lumiere along with Prannoy Roy and Manmohan Shetty, Sunil has the experience to smell a good film.
Says Sunil, “I follow films from very early stage and try to acquire the films that excite me in their initial stages. For example I had acquired Asghar Farhadi’s The Salesman in its scripting stage, much before it’s big win at Cannes and Oscars. This is also my attempt to bring the best of cinema to Indians who appreciate global cinema but cannot travel to festivals to watch these movies on big screens.” He further adds, “Our focus is on bringing great films annually to India. Our start has been very auspicious with The Salesman. Rest of our line up is equally exciting and includes amongst others the critically acclaimed and successful films Mustang and Winter sleep.”
The Salesman, will release in India on 31st March, 2017. The Salesman has bagged the Oscar for best foreign-language film this year, and also won the Best Screenplay and Best Actor Award in Festival De Cannes last year. The Iranian director, Asghar Farhadi had earlier also won an Oscar for his film Seperation.

The Salesman, written and directed by ASGHAR FARHADI, featuring Shahab Hosseini and Taraneh Alidoosti is about a couple who are forced out of their apartment due to dangerous works on a neighboring building, Emad and Rana move into a new flat in the center of Tehran. An incident linked to the previous tenant will dramatically change the young couple’s life.
The much acclaimed Mukti Bhawan will now release on 7th April, 2017 in India. The film has been written and directed by Shubhashish Bhutiani and produced by Sanjay Bhutiani & Sajida Sharma under their banner Red Carpet Moving Pictures.
The film follows the story of a reluctant son who must take his father to the holy city of Varanasi, where his father believes he will breathe his last and attain salvation. And so the two check into Mukti Bhawan, a hotel dedicated to the people with the same beliefs, where the guests are expected to either die in 15 days or leave.
The lead cast includes Adil Hussain, Lalit Behl, Geetanjali Kulkarni , Palomi Ghosh, Navnindra Behl & Anil K Rastogi.
Mukti Bhawan had it World Premiere at the 73rd Venice International Film Festival 2016 to a 10 minute standing ovation and received the UNESCO Award. The film has been traveling the International Film Festivals globally like BIFF 2016-Busan, DIFF 2016 – Dubai, Gotenborg -Sweden, Vesoul-France.
This is Shubhashish Bhutiani’s first feature film, after he made his debut with the short film ‘KUSH , which won the Best Short at the Venice Film Festival in 2013, and got shortlisted by the Academy for the Oscars in 2014. It went on to receive the National Award the same year and won a further 25 international awards worldwide.
