‘Sameer’ is not based on Best Bakery case says director Dakxin Chhara.

‘Sameer’ is a political thriller inspired from some victims from Ahmedabad bomb blast and its trailer shows some scenes in bakery, which led to speculations that it will also showcase Best Bakery case.
Clearing the speculations, director Dakxin Chhara says, “Sameer is not based on 2008 serial bomb blast but its inspired by some incidents with victims, its a completely a fiction film. Few scenes have been shot in Bakery as it gives lot of character on screen. The film is nowhere near the bakery case.”
‘Sameer’, starring Zeeshan Ayyub, Anjali Patil, Subrat Dutta, Seema Biswas and Chinmay Mandlekar in the lead roles, is directed by Dakxin Chhara and produced by Nomad Movies Pvt Ltd. The film is slated to release on September 8,2017.
