To her credit she has a film like Aisha which gave the industry of Bollywood a new direction towards viewing the Fashion industry & also gave a real insight into the lives of the high society of metropolitan cities. Although she’s well known for this film, this winner of the prestigious American Film Institute’s Spirit of Excellence Award for Outstanding Direction, made her directorial debut with a film called ‘Chaurahen’ which gained critical appreciation at various film festivals. She went onto direct the segment titled Biriyani in the multi-starrer film ‘X: Past Is Present’.
Rajshree Ojha has now ventured into the Hindi television space as a Producer with her daily soap ‘Bin Kuch Kahe’ which telecasts on Zee TV. The show is about three sisters and their journey in a dysfunctional family, with a troublesome mother. Ojha believes her 157 episodes long daily soap will bring a welcome change that’ll make the critics of the television soap view the space in a more respectable way, for which she’s conceptualized and worked with her team for more than a year.
