Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 lead actors Kartik, Sunny and Omkar get a tongue lashing from the heroines

‘Men are like dogs? But dogs are cute — and loyal!’, say the girls

Lead actors from the soon to be released sequel of popular youth comedy film Pyaar Ka Punchnama engaged in a high-energy tu-tu main-main in the latest episode of M Bole Toh on hotstar.

To Aaryan’s rant in Pyaar Ka Punchnama, the female leads of the sequel Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (PKP2),  Nushrat Bharucha, Sonalli Sehgal and Ishita Sharma responded with a  power-packed lecture about their own grouses against men. Giving the boys a dose of their own medicine, the ladies dismissed the double standards of men, even comparing them with dogs!

On being asked how they think guys are, Nushrat said, “While boys are trying to woo us, they do everything – surprise us, get us cupcakes, send many messages, call us frequently, buy us expensive perfumes and pamper us fully. The moment they know we are theirs, all this stops. They start finding the mobile phone to be the most ridiculous invention ever.”

Not one to be left behind, Ishita adds, “Boys want their girlfriends to look beautiful, hot and sexy, but they want them to get dressed and ready very fast. They have no patience. The moment they’re in bed, they never want to chat, all they want is sex. They never give us enough time to get ready, because they themselves are ok with wearing dirty underwear, dirty socks and dirty clothes and then keep scratching in public! If you tell them any of this, they deny it outright. Inspite of all these issues, we are the ones who get blamed for the issues relationships. All they keep saying is that we don’t understand. Why should we understand everything all the time?”

Sonalli said, “So you’ve heard that men are like dogs. But dogs are loyal and cute – men not at all. Even when they’re out with a girl, their roving eyes are checking other women out. Fighting with them over anything is a waste of time, because they don’t remember anything. Their memory is like that of a gold fish. There are times when you just wish to talk and want someone to listen. But boys will try to bring their supposed logic into everything. I don’t want to hear about logic all the time. If I want to hear about logic, I would go to my teacher, not have a boyfriend.”

The arguments do not end just yet. It is widely believed that girls don’t necessarily mean what they say and vice versa.

Mastikhor host Malishka tests this theory as she asks male leads of the film Kartik Aaryan, Sunny Singh and Omkar Kapoor to explain the real meaning behind some commonly-used phrases by women. The boys can be seen sharing their innermost pain points concerning relationships and what women mean really mean vis-à-vis what they say.

The PKP2 cast perform many more dares assigned to them by none other than their fans on Twitter. Malishka also challenges all six to perform a dare of removing their shirts. To everyone’s surprise and much to the delight of the boys, Sonalli is the only one who takes up the challenge and removes her top!
