MAX the country’s largest fashion forward brand has partnered with the world renowned and prestigious modeling contest, Elite Model Look 2014 (EML) which marks its debut in India this year. The contest completed its Regional Casting rounds in 5 key cities. These are Chandigarh, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata. All the shortlisted models from these 5 cities walked the ramp for the “National Casting” on 21st Sept. 2014 at Hotel Sofitel, Mumbai. Prominent personalities present included Marc Robinson, Designer Gaviin Miguel and Model Dipti Gujral.
Total 20 models (10 Boys & 10 Girls) got selected at the National Casting. These finalists will undergo grooming sessions with industry gurus like Marc Robinson, guiding and mentoring the aspirants to prepare for the grand finale which is scheduled to take place in October.
The winners of October Grand Finale will then go on to represent India at the international finale in China and secure a 3 year contract with the Elite agency.

It is a major centre for the construction of kettuvalloms(traditional rice barges) which are later modified into houseboats for travellers. Film review – KHOOBSURAT – RATING 3.5
Endearing Romance, Sonam shines, Fawad Khan stands out! Must watch!
The film is a quirky, modern romantic comedy about what happens when a vibrant, hopelessly romantic physiotherapist meets a handsome young Rajput prince who is the complete opposite of her – and is engaged to someone else.
Set in Rajasthan, Khoobsurat is the story of Dr. Mili Chakravarty (played by Sonam Kapoo) – a middle class physiotherapist from Delhi. Mili is sent to Rajasthan to treat the paraplegic Shekhar Rathore, Raja of Sambalgarh. Over the course of her stay in the mahal, Mili charms the Rathore family, especially young Yuvraj Singh Rathore (Fawad Khan) – with her free spirit and funny antics.
The film, which is a remake of Hrishikesh Mukerjee’s 1980 hit film of similar name starring Rekha, also star Kirron Kher, Ratna Pathak Shah and Aamir Raza Husain.
Sonam Kapoor is cute and loveable in this candy floss romance. She truly connects with her character and her hallmarks (as usual) are her penchant for fashion n styling. She stands out effortlessly. Pakistani actor Fawad Khan will surely be loved by the female audiences. His acting fits the role like a glove. Ratna Pathak Shah is flawless. Kirron Kher lends the comedy angle and is superb. Aamir Raza Hussain is perfect.
Although touted as a remake, it has its own identity. The right comic punches in the first half, the cute characterisation and romance built up is perfect. There are low patches in the second half which could have been avoided. Overall a perfect romantic film without the usual clichés.
Sneha Khanwalkar does a fab job with her quirky music style. She is one music director, who will go a long way if she continues to churn different upbeat music.
Shashank Ghosh has carefully blended Sonam’s persona with the film characterisation. The youth will definitely identify with the film. He has underplayed the film in certain portions by not doing the unpredictable. Good job by him for sure.
The film will manage to be an average hit. The youth will love it. Sonam has yet another film which will talk about her acting. Fawad will be flooded with offers.
