As you can notice, 5 Ghantey Mien 5 Crore is very less Publicized and less Promoted film. Film’s with Zero awareness has only one hope tagged with them is word-of-mouth. 5 Ghantey Mien 5 Crore fully rely on this word of mouth publicity funda. The film is very tight and engrossing with superb performances by all the Actors in their respective parts.
Pakistani actress Meera is the pillar of the story. She is highly dramatic, menacing and yet manages to get the audiences root for her from the very beginning. Supporting her is debutant Abhishek Kumar who performs his part very well. Another debutant Kavita Radheshyam is a surprise packet of the story. Kavita is the same actress who landed in controversy with her semi-naked photoshoot on Save Tiger campaign. Kavita’s character changes the climax of the film in totality. Shahwar Ali, Nasser Abdulla and Ranjeet adds good support to the Script.
Faisal Saif is the same director who directed Hrishitaa Bhatt’s 2006 controversial ‘Jigyaasa’ which failed at the Box Office. This time, He brings a Psycho Thriller and has succeeded in grabbing viewer’s attention through his story telling. The film is mostly shot on one location and the camera work by Sumesh K.Chandran is eye-catching. The editing (Ashutosh) of the film is tight and engrossing. The songs in the film are passable and looks like forced one. In fact it’s only songs which is a drawback in the film, But the Background Score of the film is outstanding.
